Projected onto the Cathedral bell tower, The Pulse is an art project which is based on the elements of mauri (life force), mana (authority/power), tapu (sacred and restricted customs) and wairua (spirit). 

As day turns to night, vibrant waves of light and colour pulse and dance along the edges and curves of the cathedral, transforming it into a living canvas on which the pulsing light will tell the story of each element. 

The Pulse invites audiences to immerse themselves in an otherworldly experience, where art and architecture fuse harmoniously, evoking a sense of wonder and bridging the gap between the tangible and the ethereal elements.
