9. Matariki ahunga nui, Matariki hunga nui

RMM Landscape Architects with Victory Primary School, Nelson Whakatū

Matariki has many admirers, Matariki brings us together.

Victory Primary School is delighted to have the opportunity to work with RMM Architects to create this installation. Students were able to imagine and be part of creating an artwork on a large scale.

Their artwork acknowledges their school's whakapapa and the tamariki have inquired into, reflected on, and created artworks inspired by the unique properties of each whetu in Te Iwa o Matariki.

Their learning will become part of their school’s rich cultural narrative.
